About
Gabriela Perez is a Master in Urban Planning and Policy student at the University of Illinois at Chicago with a concentration in community development and the Board Vice President of the student organization Women in Planning and Public Affairs. Formerly from the San Francisco Bay Area, Gabriela has been residing in Chicago for the last five years. Her work as a case manager at a therapeutic residential facility is what initially sparked her interest in community development and community resiliency work.
