About
Anahi Cruz is pursuing a Master’s degree in Latin American and Latino Studies. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, Law, and Justice & Latin American and Latino Studies from UIC. Her research interest is focused on immigration.
During her undergrad, she developed two research posters. One poster was through the Urban Public Policy Fellowship (UPPF). Through the Latin American Recruitment and Educational Services (LARES) program, Anahi was a Summer Ambassador for two years. She helped out during first year student orientations.
Anahi is a Graduate Assistant at the Institute for Policy and Civic Engagement (IPCE) for the UPPF program. As a former UPPF fellow, she’s excited to return as a GA to continue pushing UPPF’s mission, and provide guidance to incoming fellows.
