While fall semester 2020 marks an unprecedented start to a new academic year, we want to assure you that the university continues to do everything possible to keep the UIC community safe during these unique and challenging times.
UIC has implemented numerous measures to safeguard our community. Although the large majority of undergraduate instruction will take place remotely, there are still a number of courses that will be offered on campus. All students, staff and faculty will have to complete the COVID-19 safety training, submit a daily wellness screening to come onto campus, wear a face covering, wash hands/use sanitizer often and practice physical/social distancing.
IPCE’s office space located in the College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs at 412 S. Peoria Street, Suite 615 is open during regular business hours for staff only at this time. Although most of our staff continues to work remotely under the COVID19 safety recommendations, we want to assure you we continue to serve our mission in the areas of research, public engagement and democratic education. We are checking e-mail regularly and will respond at our earliest convenience. We can also be reached by at (312) 355-0088 during regular business hours.
All of our Fall Semester events including our Civic Engagement Lunch Talks, Space to Engage Dialogues and our upcoming public policy workshops/sessions will be held virtually using an online engagement platform.
