About
Ana Genkova supports and grows the IPCE’s research work. She comes from a background in community psychology and has experience in research and evaluation that span the justice, mental health, and foster care systems. Prior to joining IPCE, Ana conducted research and evaluation projects at the Jane Addams College of Social Work and the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority. Ana has expertise in qualitative methods and an interest in community action research using participatory and collaborative approaches.
Ana holds a B.A., an M.A. and a PhD in Psychology from the University of Illinois Chicago.
