About
Catherine joined the IPCE team in September 2019 as a Graduate Assistant. Previously, she worked in the Dean's Office at the College of Urban Planning & Public Affairs as a Communications Graduate Assistant. In this role, she produced the weekly college newsletter, maintained college social media accounts, and created marketing and promotional materials. Catherine graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017 with a B.A. in Political Science and History. While a student, she worked in a Wisconsin state representative's legislative office where she researched policy issues and generated briefs, and assisted in constituent outreach. She started the Master of Urban Planning & Policy (MUPP) program in August 2018 in the Economic Development concentration, and expects to graduate in May 2020. In her spare time, she loves cooking and learning about new foods, and exploring Chicago's many community areas.
