Karlie recently graduated in May with a Bachelors in Communication and a minor in Public Policy and is now in her first year of pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy. Public service has always been a passion of Karlie's, as she has witnessed many barriers within the communities she has lived in. It is Karlie's mission to understand these issues while seeking ways to give back. During her time at UIC, Karlie has worked amongst various departments doing research, marketing and media. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to live music shows, and cooking.
